Dental Care for Those in Need
Each year, our practice happily provides a day of complimentary charity dental work in Bowling Green, KY for underprivileged patients and those without dental insurance in the community and beyond. For anyone over the age of 18, there are no requirements. We see as many patients as we can who walk through our doors during the time we’re open on Smiles from the Heart day. Our caring dentists at Chandler Park Dental Care, as well as volunteer dentists, hygienists, and other staff, provide free dental cleanings, x-rays, fillings, and extractions. Through efforts from our team, colleagues, and those in our community, we are able to help hundreds of patients receive yearly dental care and a chance to keep their oral health on track. We love seeing patients return year after year!
Many people in our area need dental care, but right now they just can’t afford it. That’s why I have assembled a team of volunteer dentists, assistants, and hygienists to give a totally free day of dental care.
Why We Provide Complimentary Care
Good oral health is essential to maintaining good physical health. If teeth are causing pain or infection is present in the mouth, it can affect everything from an ability to eat, speak, and sleep to how confident someone feels in their smile. Our Smiles from the Heart charity dental work gives us the opportunity to relieve a person’s pain and help them return to better oral health and an improved quality of life. And we’re here to provide services that can save people the costliness of more complex treatment later, as a result of having no dental care. Best of all, on this first-come-first-serve, free of charge day, all are welcome. This is one of the reasons Smiles from the Heart is one of our team’s favorite days of the year!
